Engelberg
Engelberg is a village located in central Switzerland, known primarily for ski jumping. Mount Titlis (3,238 m) is covered with snow throughout the year and attracts tourists in both winter and summer. Titlis has the world’s first rotating cable car, the glacier cave and ski fun park. For those who are brave, try walking along the Titlis Cliff Walk, the highest suspension bridge in Europe, 3,041 m overs sea level and 500 m above the ground. In the summer, Engelberg offers numerous mountain hikes, the famous route of five lakes and attractions such as a downhill ride on a monsterroller. In Engelberg there is also a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese production and a shop with local organic food.
